Day 3 & 4: A Trip to Springfield and the surrounding area

 

 

 We did so much  on this trip! Climbed real rocks, cut down some trees, planted new ones, saw beautiful mountains, ran with cows, stayed in a cute hostile, saw an underground river system and hiked a bit.

Did I mention the amazing rocks?

Day 2: Exploring Christchurch

We saw a bunch today. We walked into town and pasted beautiful places on the way, kayaked a bit, and explored so very many things in the city. It is really hard to capture/ summarize everything but toady has been wonderful.

In the evening, some lovely ladies and I had a good home cooked meal (thanks to Sara) and indulged a bit.

Day 1

Day 1: A bit dazed and confused but it was a wonderful day. There is nothing like living among mountains. Most of the day was spent familiarizing ourselves (I am part of an international group) with the lands and each other. I met so many great people.

The Flights

And it begins!

I flew Chicago to LA to Auckland to Christchurch.

A grand total of 26 consecutive hours on a plane and in an airport...

We get serious about goodbye dinners.
